Must Visit Temple of Monk Luang Phor Thuad in Hua Hin!

Situated 10 km from south of Hua Hin in the village of Tub Tai, one can witness a big Huay Mongkol temple which has displayed the largest statue of Buddhist monk Luand Phor Thuad on its premises. This statue is immensely popular among local as well as international tourists and the consistent crowd during weekends and weekdays at this place confirms never ending popularity of this temple. The main attraction of the place is the big statue of monk perched on the top of premises outside the monastery, which is about 12m high and 10m wide. 

The monk Luang Phor Thuad who was also known as Luang Phor Thuat graced this planet some 400 years back in Southern HuaHin Thailand. This monk was prominently known among people for his great deeds and for performing miracles which everyone cannot do. It is said that this monk had once turned the salt water into fresh water which was fit for drinking purpose. Many such events are in talk among locals.
