A newly developed and fast
growing city, Khao Takiab, is situated about seven kms from Hua Hin, Thailand and emerging as a new holiday destination for tourists,
which has facilitated all the amenities required by visitors. Like all other
touristic destinations, this place also offers a comprehensive package of

The name of the place ‘Khao
Takiab’ literally means ‘chopstick hill’ due to its 272m high peninsula which
can be seen from southern part of Hua Hin Beach. Going by this side, you can
see 20m tall Lord Buddha statue, few Thai and Chinese religious figures and
statue of King Rama V. This place is also known as ‘Monkey Mountain’ because of
the presence of hundreds of monkeys at Khao Takiab. Though, they are not brutal

them as they have a normal tendency to snatch away things which they find
different than usual or interesting. Handbags and cameras should be taken
special care and all the precious things should be kept inside the bag. The
people who have been to this place have experienced their aggressive reactions
in case of scarcity of food being served to them; so, it is better not to serve
them or call for a grand party.
In a way, it is a very
interesting place to visit which is situated at a very convenient location and
one can easily come down to this place without any difficulty. Khao Takiab
beach is just 190km south of Bangkok and travelling to Hua Hin from Bangkok is
just a matter of four hours by train. One can also opt for car or bus services
that best suits their requirement. This place has recently became a known name
among visitors and with its rigorous efforts to provide the best possible
services to customers, package tours as well as individual charges have also
been offered by it. Even things can be customized on customer’s demand.
The beach of Khao Takiab has been
called as one of the best beaches of Hua Hin which also offers many activities such
as beach cycling, beach jogging, swimming, local temples, restaurants and much
more. One can play beach volleyball, football and takraw and can entertain
themselves. Khao Takiab beach is less busy than Hua Hin beach and offers a place to people to taste local delicacies
and relax afterwards. When talking about food, fishes and seafood are the most
famous delicacies for which people come from far away and pamper their taste buds.
